Notes on method & accuracy

This uses classic low-precision solar/lunar ephemerides that are excellent for determining the Moon’s sign and approximate ingress times. Expect ingress timing within tens of minutes. For sub-minute accuracy or high-precision coordinates, use modern ephemerides (VSOP87/ELP/JPL).
